Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright was obviously a great influence on the modern world and the history of the modernists movement. His work was built on the ideas of organic object and some geometric shapes. He tended to make his work quite abstract. This influenced the many aspects of modernism as many architects tended to make good use of Wrights ideas.

One building which may link to his influence on modernism is:

This takes it’s image from it’s surroundings, being that of trees, waterfalls and rocks, simply making the building blend in with its natural surroundings.

This influenced modernism as more modernistic building have a geometric and unique look to it. It may have also influenced modernism through its natural surrounding give it a bold look.
